| PRAYER FOR HAITI God Almighty, hear our prayer for those who have been effected by the devastation of the Earthquake in Haiti on January 12, 2010. We lift up to You those who have been injured, that Your healing hand is on them at this very moment. We lift up to You those who have lost loved ones, that they will be comforted by Your love. We lift up to You those who are still waiting to hear from missing family and friends, that they can have peace of mind as they wait. We lift up to You those who have perished, that they had the opportunity to know You and have accepted Your Son Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. We lift up to You those who are homeless, that You will provide them with shelter. We lift up to You those who are hungry and thirsty, that You will provide them with nutrition and fresh water. We lift up to You all that are in need, for You and You alone know what we all stand in need of. We lift up to You those who You have chosen to help in relief efforts, that You give them the strength and courage only You can give to face the horrifying effects of the earthquake’s aftermath. We pray that even through all the pain and loss they are experiencing, they may continue to love, accept, and trust God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. May You lead our hearts, guide our steps, and reign over our lives. All this we ask of You, according to Your will and timing, in the precious and glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen. |
